| Ukrainian Festival 2009 in Kenmore was a success! |

This year was truly a joyous occasion at the parish. The festival was blessed not only with wonderful activities, food, vendors, entertainment and guests, but also with fantastic weather which everyone enjoyed. For this we all are grateful.Although the planning and conducting of the festival becomes very time consuming and energy draining, the parishioners of St. John the Baptist experience a sense of accomplishment each year and seem to always get ready to repeat the effort in hopes of bringing more and more festivities to this annual event.Of course, there would be no festival ever if the community did not take an active part in attending and in supporting such an event. It certainly has been doing just that with ever increasing numbers of people. A conservative estimate of participants this year has reached upwards of more than 700 attendees. The planning committee and all parishioners of St. John the Baptist wish to express their sincere appreciation to one and all who may have helped in some way in the celebration of this event and wish to extend an early invitation to have everyone join in these festivities next year again.
